SCA Consulting Engineering, LLC (SCA) was founded in 2018 and has continuously provided quality environmental services in Puerto Rico and Florida. Led by its President, Héctor Sánchez, PE, who brings over 20 years of experience in environmental engineering and regulatory compliance; SCA offers cost effective, comprehensive environmental consulting and project management services, maintaining operations in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
The primary resources of the SCA team are our personnel. A variety of different backgrounds and experiences give our staff the ability to provide a wide range of environmental services.
SCA project managers, licensed engineers, and environmental specialists offer our clients timely, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions that take into consideration all aspects and phases of a project. Our regulatory experts are thoroughly trained in current regulatory requirements. SCA has consistently demonstrated an effective and cooperative working relationship with its clients as well as with federal, state and local regulators.
Héctor L Sánchez Cruz, PE, MEM, REM Licensed Professional Environmental Engineer in Puerto Rico and Florida with over 20 years of industry experience. As President of SCA, Héctor oversees all aspects of company performance, including finances, marketing, and operations. He is the principal engineer involved in assessment and analysis of economic benefits and alternatives relating to client environmental issues. He has a broad experience with industrial environmental compliance activities and field operations. His work experience includes project management, water reuse, evaluation of water uses, supervision of environmental contractors, preliminary design, construction and operation of full-scale wastewater treatment systems and permitting services with regulatory agencies such as USEPA (Region 2 New York), USEPA CEPD (Caribbean Environmental Protection Division), and PR Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER). He also has extensive experience working with Puerto Rico agencies, including the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority.
